Production

We are capable of producing in excess of 30,000 metres of fabric each week, employing both the Dornier Jacquard and Picanol Dobby weaving machines.

We also have a Section Warping Machine. This is used to prepare the yarn onto a weavers beam.

The production is enhanced and complimented by the installation of the latest LUWA air conditioning and dust extraction system, which not only has a direct impact on quality, but also has the advantage of significantly improving the working environment.

Using the combined experience of the S Dawes weaving team and our automated inspection facility, the quality control procedures adopted by the company, which embrace every stage of production from the sourcing of yarns, through to despatch of fabrics, ensure the high quality product our customers demand.

Design

Our experienced and talented 'In House' design team, fully exploit the recent aquisition of the Apsocad system in the creation of new designs.

They produce designs not only to satisfy customer's requirements, but also research new market trends and expand the already extensive sample library within our design studio.
